Trachy takil seeds, hmmmmm.
Hi all,
Bought these seeds online as Trachy Takil. They look nothing like any Trachy seed I have seen. They almost look like some type of phoenix. Before I the seller I would like to get some opinions. In addition I bought 10 butia bonnetti seeds, 5 of which are floating like a life raft in a cup of water at the moment.
Thanks,
Craig

I think I posted this before, but... http://homepage.ntlworld.com/david.ison2/page9.html I have germinated many hundreds of date palms & the photo you posted is some type of date seed.

Here is the reply I got back about the seeds.
Dear Craig,
Thanks for your kind message.
The Trachycarpus seeds have been harvested from Botanical Gardens
of The Forest Research Institute , and as such we have shipped these
to you in good faith.
However,I do understand that you are not satisfied with your purchase,
and am making a order refund to you.
Further , if you can share information with us on Trachycarpus seeds
we shall appreciate that very much.
We assure to you that we got these seeds authenticated before offering
for sale. However we are now seeking a second opinion, and shall
withhold further sales till then.
Thanking you for your trust and patience.

Craig...Might be just a case of lousy inventory labelling...
or it could be as simple as a guy who heard that people can and do sell palm seeds,
so he's gone out and picked seeds up...under trees, from sidewalks, etc.
From what Todd's excellent seed link showed, the seller is advertising a Corvette and selling a Studebaker.
Good luck.

I'd take the cash -- not more seeds!am making a order refund to you.
Good luck.
