Soil for Cycads

Post by Dean W. » Thu Aug 28, 2008 5:59 pm

I was wondering what you all use for potting soil on Cycads :?: I have some Dioons and Zamias that seem to be staying to wet after recent rains. I'm thinking of adding more perlite to their soil. Is this is a good time of year or should I wait tell Spring?

Try using some CHC. About the best draining medium you can find.
