Free T. fortunei variations seeds

Post by Cameron_z6a_N.S. » Mon Jan 10, 2011 12:13 pm

Lately I've managed to receive a fair amount of T. fortunei seeds that I'll be germinating. Before I germinate them, I wanted to offer some seeds up for free, so that everyone has a chance to grow them. I can't give everyone too many of each seed, but I can give you some, and send it for free. Here's what I have:

T. fortunei from Tennessee
T. fortunei "Hayes Stiffie"
T. fortunei "Tesan"

Please PM me if you're interested, but also respond to the thread to let me know, because sometimes I don't receive all of the PMs

Cameron.

Ive been reading up on the tesan. Interesting to see comparitive pics of a "normal" fortunei compared to the tesan form. Ive found that its said to be more then hardy in a zone 7 area. I like the look of the leaves on them too..

is it true the Hayes is just a waggie fortunei cross??

Yeah I like the "stout" look that Tesan have too! I've heard that Hayes Stiffie is a fort x wag cross, but no one really knows for sure. The seeds that I'll send you come from the original tree.

Yes, just the Princeps.

Considering my PDN plant list, likely to put me in the poorhouse.

EDIT:
oops, just remembered I also ordered some T.wagnerianus seeds to fill out the minimum order size.
My other seeds popped and died.
