Butia seed...

Post by Laaz » Sun Aug 12, 2007 2:58 pm

Does anyone want to distribute seed for Butia ? I don't have the time right now to clean & distribute the seed. If someone is willing to have me send them a large supply of fresh seed to distribute to other members let me know.

Yes Laaz, I can.
I am already sending Tropicman, KNNN & OPPalm (althou OPPalm doesn't know it until now  ) some seeds. So I can add those too.
PM me for confirmation. BTW, When will the smaller Butias (about 9"-10" trunks) be ready for you dig up and send? I still have the one you sent last year and I LOVE LOVE LOVE it and would like another.

oppalm knows this now and he is pleased. oppalm also enjoys referring to himself in the third. oppalm knows Butias are great palms and his life long dream is to grow enough of them to provide him and his wife with enough jelly to retire on. oppalm is not sure how much jelly that is, but a man has to have dreams.

oppalm is impressed with the pictures of seeds. That's alot of seeds and I'll bet alot of work to clean. THANKS Laaz. oppalm has changed his lifelong dream to producing pindo wine.
