OK get your minds out of the gutter people....I just finally uncovered my front yard musas...thought they were a loss after this coldest winter in 20 years in NJ,,but i think they survived even though it is the lowest i have ever had to cut back....

Mike, glad to see you back.
Thought you were stuck in a snowbank.

Your 17C oughta get them showing green in a day or two.

Thankfully they made it.
So did you.
The winter of hell.

They're doing fine still at home pushing out leaves, now the ones down here at the beach place are slower to come back probably because they are a lot younger and smaller than the ones at home.... :(

Nice to see the musas coming back, what do you do to protect the trunk? I always cut mine to the ground and never protect them. I have about 14 little ones coming up, but old ones never come back.

I dug my musa sikkimensis for the winter and good thing. I have actually lost a musella lasiocarpa and muse velutina. I do have a baby musella and thai black.
