Howdy, from Abbotsford BC

Post by nate74 » Tue Sep 03, 2013 9:27 am

Hi there, I am pretty new to palms and tropicals but am looking to learn more. I currently have one windmill palm (Trachycarpus Fortunei) that is doing fairly well in spite of how I have treated it. I found this site while trying to find some information on keeping it happier through the upcoming winter. However now having seen some of the amazing gardens that you guys keep I think that a total redo of my backyard landscaping is in order.

Thanks in advance for the dumb questions I'll be sure to ask.

Welcome aboard, Nate.
Abbotsford is a great place to grow windmills, albeit slightly colder winters than Vancouver.
But a piece of cake compared to many of us.

Good for you for getting the palm bug.

Photos...we go ga ga over pictures :P
