Post by pier_man0909 » Mon May 21, 2012 1:32 pm

I joined this board a few days ago and Just wanted to say hi. I am very recently getting into learning about palm trees. I am residing in Nags Head on the Outer Banks of North Carolina.

Here's to all the global warming pushers, may your winters be -30 below and four feet of snow in your driveway. Because I want you happy.

Welcome aboard, pierman.

Nice varieties you've already acquired.
Will look forward to seeing the photos.

Unhappy windmills? Lots of folks with good experience here.
We're all still learning.

sorry I havent posted any pics yet. ive been pretty busy. now were dealing with that tropical storm that hit us. we have some pretty good flooding around. our house has a foot and a half in the carport. I dont think I lost any plants but I did lose a couple of seed flats to the flood. all 5 of them were fully submerged but I think I saved 3 flats. today I was walking around in the flooded carport picking up seeds, some of which that had germinated that washed out of the couple flats just laying in a foot of water on the concrete, haha.
