Elephant ear fossil leaf from 22 mya

Post by TerdalFarm » Wed Jan 12, 2011 7:44 pm

This blog entry rambles, but there is a paragraph about a fossil "elephant ear" leaf from 22 mya in Ethiopia and a so-so photograph of the elephant ear fossil.

Jim will want a cutting from that one...

In the sixth paragraph, it ends with:
We have not found palms.

A fascinating read, not at all rambly.
But I love all that digging and exploring stuff more than most folks. :faroah:
