Great condition on arrival:

<a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/southslope/10635296285/" title="004 by edible_plum, on Flickr"><img src="http://farm3.staticflickr.com/2860/1063 ... 5591_c.jpg" width="800" height="600" alt="004"></a>

Thrilled that the border didn't confiscate them!
Nice to know that some stuff can get through.

Thank you, thank you!!!!!

Thanks folks.
The picture doesn't do 'em justice...they are soooooo pretty.

Cool how they get their serration and filaments while fairly young.
Some plants take so long to resemble their species...not these babies.

Looking forward to planting them out come spring...

I'm sure you know but keep them on the cold side until spring or they'll get leggy. 8)

Yessirreeee!

Excellent Keith!
They do germinate readily from what I recall.
Just don't let them dry out in the summer like I did.
They baked in our south-facing sun...should've put them in morning sun only.

Maybe I can trade you something for one or two next summer?

Let's see what's still alive when spring comes... :|
And once planted and making babies, you can have the pick of the litter, Keith.

I'll watch yours with interest, Igor.
Is yours planted sheltered against the house or out in the open covered with snow?

Here's to all the global warming pushers, may your winters be -30 below and four feet of snow in your driveway. Because I want you happy.

Mine is under snow cover now. Also I left the pallida, the Tim's hybrid which looks gorgeous and a very small specimen of the 'red yucca' outside too. All these plants were planted on a rockery at my office backyard. Way far from the north side of a house. It's a kind of shady spot but a quite dry.
Well I'm looking forward to have them back after the winter alive...
