great garden for so far north! I assume you place a 'roof' over that to keep those succulents nice and dry.......nice set up. 8)

elburro, I don't have much of a desert garden, but here are a few pics:

<a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/southslope/9673734703/" title="009 by edible_plum, on Flickr"><img src="http://farm3.staticflickr.com/2838/9673 ... 5d08c2.jpg" width="375" height="500" alt="009"></a>

Some aren't even planted:

<a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/southslope/9681570454/" title="007 by edible_plum, on Flickr"><img src="http://farm4.staticflickr.com/3668/9681 ... ae66ef.jpg" width="375" height="500" alt="007"></a>

3 rostratas between 2 Washies:

<a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/southslope/9678329665/" title="001 by edible_plum, on Flickr"><img src="http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7432/9678 ... 3e2545.jpg" width="500" height="375" alt="001"></a>

And a bunch of 12 year old yucca filamentosa planted in gravel:

<a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/southslope/9138226368/" title="009 by edible_plum, on Flickr"><img src="http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7329/9138 ... 6317fb.jpg" width="500" height="375" alt="009"></a>

That's about it for succulents.

Very nice, Janci! Wish you to complete the project before winter comes. Is there enough drainage for the yucca plants?

WOW, great collection of Yucca seedlings. They look super healthy and happy.

I'm glad to see the Y. gloriosa 'white shed'. That is a very nice Yucca in my garden......it's over 7 feet (2.1m) tall now and super hardy. This Yucca was sent to me from Jim Kelly of New Jersey as an unusual looking Yucca in his area.

Here's an old link showing this Yucca......it's much taller now!!

Janci,, that's some serious yucca collecting :D
Well done.

Just a question...in photo 4, is that a true Rostrata?
Leaves look a tiny bit wide.
But maybe they thin out as the plant ages.

It'll be great to see where you put all those seedlings.
