Those are great links, but often get lost in my other bookmarks.
Wealth of information.

Will post some new pics soon of other cycads progress.
The D.spinulosum continues to win the race at my house.

Thanks!
Barb

Started from seed last year, these Cycas debaoensis spent summer outdoors in mostly shade.
The wavy leaves are slow to develop.

Here are two:

The caudex on this Zamia vasquezii nearly doubled in size this summer:

Wasn't that website picture breathtaking?

Yup, seeds are satisfying...and frustrating.

If I can germinate and keep alive 5 plants from 10 seeds of C.debaoensis, anybody can.

None of my $$ seeds of 5 palm varieties made it. Nada.
I don't have the patience to wait a year or more.

I recycle all my old germination media to use with orchids, noticed a Zamia has popped up in this basket!

Excellent!
How exciting.

I did that too, Steve.
Couldn't stand the thought of throwing out $$$ seeds that didn't pop.

So now I peer at all my container plants...waiting for a Bizzie to pop up.
