This is not good

###### ######
original title^
Watch out because old man winter is laying out the white carpet right now and this will not allow much modification in whats coming....

From the forecasters discussion this morning.

Both the GFS and European model (ecmwf) show another system lifting eastward from
base of trough but passing well to our south sun into Monday... which
could potentially be a rather significant storm system with
heavy amounts of rain and snow to the northeast Continental U.S.. this
system looks to dislodge an impressive chunk of Arctic air
which settles over the region early next week. GFS and European model (ecmwf)
consistent past several runs advertising 850 mb temperatures as cold as
around -30c for our area on Monday... which if verifies could be
near record to record territory on temperatures.

record is -31F here

We have 2 arctic blast coming in back to back. One tonight and one Sunday night. Possible for me to hit single digits here. And with the wind gust up to 60mph who knows what we're in for. I'm sure the howling tonight will be my palms screaming for mercy.

Weatherman indicated it's the first time in 18 years since it was this cold in half the country.

After all the rain turning to ice I had to rebuild the palm hut that houses the chammy. One soft spot and the rain accumulated to about 10lb blocks of ice. Luckly everything held up to the winds. Now lets wait for the cold to roll in and hope it rolls out just as fast.

Here's to all the global warming pushers, may your winters be -30 below and four feet of snow in your driveway. Because I want you happy.

The high here today was 38F the low was -3F. Tomorrow the high is -3F and the low is -3F wacky. We have had like 6 inches of snow so far and it's really windy, very wicked out their. I hope my plants make it.
