Not pretty but

Post by seedscanada » Wed Nov 06, 2013 1:27 pm

It should keep the chill off my nannas and fig. As well as serve as outdoor storage for larger plants. Decided not to build a flimsy hoop house this year. The inspiration was a glass shower door for 90%off as the entrance, not bad for 11 bucks.

To the left is my triangle glass box, within it is our Brahea armata.
Both enclosures will have thermocube actuated heat. T3. [/url]

That'll work, Adam.
You may wish to insert a "tent pole" to give some snow-shedding ability to the structure.
So it doesn't cave in from the weight.

Great buy on the door...good idea.
I've still got a sheet of plexiglass in the garage, no idea how to attach a rectangle to my Washy teepee.

Can't wait to see your Brahea come out in Spring.
Hope mine'll look as good as yours.

Thanks Barb. Good luck on your Brahea. Yeah plenty rain last night... had to insert flexible conduit arched across the ceiling/roof from inside for the very reason you mention, but rain.
