New record snow broken in Montreal
Montreal just got 45cm of snow in 12h..new all time record. I received almost the same amount here in Mirabel 30km away. Third storm in 10 days, total of more than 90 cm. Its crazy, look s like we will have another big winter like the one we got in 2007-2008 with all time record of total of snow. I remember at my house i had at least 4-5 foots of snow anywhere, and snowbank of 5-6 feets tall .

Just think, anything under that snow is pretty much as protected as its going to get!

I prayed for snow last winter. Imagine -22F and no snow cover at all! Even some opuntias died.

Here's to all the global warming pushers, may your winters be -30 below and four feet of snow in your driveway. Because I want you happy.

This could be your place, Beny

We've had more than that here. The only difference is that ours is a much more wetter variety
Luckily we don't get anything like that often. Back in 1963 we had 10ft snowdrifts which was compacted by an ice storm, great for sledging on when your young but not now

I drove through two snowstorms in Quebec and Ontario last week, and now Halifax is supposed to receive 1' of snow over the weekend!

Found that pic on the internet...probably Photoshopped.
But it's a good one.
This is for you Cameron:

We're getting light snow now, with some nasty cold for the next week.

Thanks, Barb My area only ended up with around 6", half of what was called for. However, temps are supposed to drop significantly later in the week.
