Warm Winter Weather

Post by bgodwin1987 » Mon Dec 03, 2012 6:14 am

So far the weather has been pretty mild this winter. Last year was mild too the coldest it got was 14 F. This winter its gotten down to 23 F, so far the colds temp. It is supposed to be 73 F today, dec 3, it's not feeling like Christmas though, lol. Wacky weather, must be global warming.

Enjoy your mild winters while they last. We've enjoyed around 20 years of "mild Winters" testament to the fact that we could grow Cordyline Australis in inland areas of the UK. Not anymore. We are now in a cooling cycle and maybe in another 10-15 years or more we will start to get warmer again. Thats how our cycles run. Unfortunately Nature has other ideas when it comes to the "Hockey stick "dodgy programs.

Yeah, It was a little humid today it got up to 75 F. Thats very strange for december. I saw an Oleander today in a sheltered area next to a building at my university it had not damage what so ever, im curious to see if it survives the winter. Must be the building because the top of mine at home is fried from frost.

Seeing your temps makes me wonder if I live in the Arctic
The latest forecast says: "Colder with each day. We might see 5F in some areas". I'm hoping 'some areas' won't be my place

Yup, cold is definitely arriving mid-December for us in BC Canada too.

Here's info on 1500 year old Arctic Ice:

Looks like we can blame Russia!
