Hoping a our friends in the Southern Gulf States are faring/will fare well with Isaac! And hoping our friends in the Midwest get some beneficial rainfall!!!

They are saying the potential is there for 3" of rain here-maybe flooding???

That would be nice because its DDDDDDDDRRRRRRRYYYYY after that again.

Yes, Mike, that's a timely message.
Hope everyone gets through this without damage to their family/property.

And let's hope it brings rain for the drought-stricken areas.

I just hope it doesn't strengthen and become Katrina II...it should peter out as it makes landfall, hopefully.

Jim would probably run around naked in the streets, celebrating a rainfall...hope it's a gentle steady rain. :lol: :lol:

Im probably one of the few people who WANTS to be in a hurricaine :D

Despite the flooding (forcasters are saying winds and surge arent the problem) that will test new orleans (I havnt checked this morning lol), it will drop much needed rain onto parts of the midwest/east that needs it badly.

We'll see about how much rain we get...we did pick up 1.74" Sunday.


I believe this is the most rain we have had since last June-


They are saying 2-4" is possible here Sat :D
