Rain/Floods/Holy Man
Here are my relative rain fall amounts for may:
http://www.climate.weatheroffice.gc.ca/ ... imeframe=2
THe monthly rainfall so far is 98MM (give or take). The radio this morning stated 80mm of rain since mid night last night (this was at 7AM). Thats 178MM of rain this month. 90% if it was in the last 2 weeks, and half of that was in one night (last night). So lets see some pics:

Too wet... Too dry....
Send some of that rain down our way. We are way to dry down here in southern Ontario, as well my back yard is sitting at 94 F. with the humidex currently. Too hot.

I wish it was that warm here. We did in fact need the rain. Lake Superior was down like 12 feet, and had a few bad fire seasons over the last few years.

Holy cow, Jesse, the TV has been showing Ontario's FIRES!!!
That's one heck of a lot of rain.
Free water...yipeeee.
They keep saying showers for our area...still dryer than a popcorn fart.
But the daytime highs are finally close to normal.
Hope you don't have to build an Ark.

Barb - The entire NW of the province is soaked, figuretively and literally. THe ground is saturated here, and in reality, all the ground water is going to start to lead to the city, seeing as were one of the only proper flood plains here for water to reach the lake. THe eastern half has fires, so does that mean in between us and them, is "perfect" ?
I should be ok, but theyve closed some bridges in the city since debris is blocking it, and my take down one or 2. No flooding in my yard at all, which means my soil drains fairly well. Were under a boil water advisory as well.
Cameron - Yeah LOL, you go 8 hours east and theyre dry (they got some rain though with the same system). "Normaly" it wouldnt have had the conditions here for something like this to take shape this time of year, but the mild winter has kept the lake "warm", as well as some of the ground.

Thanks-I was wondering where all the rain has gone-
I will guess that we hit single digits humidity today-that is just stupid in May!
They are forecasting 2 cool days and maybe 2" of rain Wens/Thurs-tired of watering already!

Good your place is safe Jesse.
You'll be able to hear the lawn grow with all that rain.
Jim, with your early and steady heat, cool will be welcome.

Here's to all the global warming pushers, may your winters be -30 below and four feet of snow in your driveway. Because I want you happy.

that's a lot of water. I just checked out the radar and just NW of Keene, NH received 8 inches (20cm) of rain in the past 24 hr......that blows.
