Good for you, Aaron, about time you went to 95.
Your brevifolias will love that.

I'm 40 degrees less than your temp!!!!

And weather office issued a "rainfall warning" for us 24 hours ago.
What's arrived so far wouldn't coat the bottom of a beer glass.

May still have to irrigate tonight if nothing develops.

Well the cold air is coming this way and so is the wind. Blew over my biggest cholla and ripped a branch off my desert olive.

I should have known this was going to happen, I just came inside from picking up the last of the tumble weeds! :x

Thanks Tim, we got your crappy drizzle overnite...half an inch.
Today it's heavy cloud hanging low in the valley, can hardly see the mountain tops.

Strange...cold again, actually dropping temps by afternoon.

That'd be a tough plant to move, but a leeward spot is probably a good idea.
Wear your chainmail (or is it male?) suit to move it.

We'll be "near freezing" for overnight in a day or two.

Oh goodie :argue: :crybaby: :help: :idea1:

Finally got some rain, we`re at 1 inch so far.
Very unusual to get a rainfall warning (that actually pans out into rain)

so coooooold again...risk of frost tonight.

I am NOT hauling palms indoors again...they`re on their own

Now into our 5th day of rain...never saw that before here!!!!!
Over 2 inches in the rain gauge.

The water authority must be freaking because of the lack of revenue

Other areas 30 miles northeast have flooded roads and communities cut off with a bridge washout and mudslides.

Won't have to water for a month...yippppppeeeeeeee! :|

Threw some logs into the woodstove last night, it was so cold :x

It'll get better Aaron...

Today's the first sunny day here in FIVE.... 8)

People were evacuated from low-lying areas nearby from MELTING SNOW in the mountains rushing down the hills, joined with 3+ inches of rain.
What a mess.

When the heat hits, we won't be acclimatized to it.

Shopping list: buy a hammock and 2 trees to hang it in.

This week is a heck of a lot better than this time last year. As in highs of 92 F or so vs. 100 F.
That starts next week and continues indefinitely. Good thing I'll be somewhere cool then, like New Mexico, Arizona, etc....

The weather in my area has been relatively warm for the past few days, with temps ranging between 24 - 28 C. However, this is nothing compared to what southern Ontario and the eastern US are experiencing!
