We got to 90 F / 32 C today. Are we the first here?
Severe drought continues, but I'm watering palms already. :D

Morning low was 71 F (22 C). I should know soon what is alive.
Just wish we would get rain--this drought is now worse than the famous "dyst bowl" on the 1930s.
Well, out to water....

Nice Eric!

How are things recovering after the winter? You should see some recovery by now eh??

Here's to all the global warming pushers, may your winters be -30 below and four feet of snow in your driveway. Because I want you happy.

Erik, you won both the winter low and first to hit 90's!

Re watering, be grateful you're not on a water meter.
Bureaucrats/gov't love that tax grab, as it's not about conservation at all.
But a great excuse to gouge us.

I've been watching the weather around Erik's area, just about like our July weather here.

90 F again this afternoon. Tied a record set in 1930 for Tulsa.
Barb, yes, quite a swing. We had a 100 F jump (-22 to +78 F) in just one week in February; about a 60 C (-30 c to +29 C) jump in a little over a month; just keeps going up! Lowest in the past week was a mere 30 F / -1 C.
It is exciting to see rapid growth in the winter survivors, but when an old friend does not pop up I worry it is gone for good.
Anyways, time to top up the rum and coke and head back out to the palm garden where it is now a pleasant 78 F. At 11 pm.

Erik 90f 32c that`s great. I wish summer was here now like your temps. We are in a holding pattern of 16 c 60f. We always have a gradual warming spring to scorching hot summer here. Erik got the pool up and running yet? So jealous of your early summer.

My weather sticker says 72 F now before sunrise and that is the lowest reading around.
No, the pool isn't open. We plan to drain it, scrub it, and then refill.

We hit 93 in late March but were down to 33 two nights ago. We also got a lot of rain this season. No palms drowned fortunately. I'm hoping the night time temps will keep rising. Even in summer it normally dips into the 50's at night.

So far it's been 15 C / 60 F once this season, although that could improve within the coming week!
