I think they get some kind of snow about every other year or so, but melts by the afternoon. My nieghbors had about a 1/2 inch to the north of Bisbee, they said it melted later that day.lucky1 wrote:Nice to see that video, Aaron, thanks.
So about 15 years since the last "event"?
Bet you didn't miss that great Agave at 1:28
Barb
That was not a normal snow for Bisbee.
Yes, I seen that agave and oh how I would love seed from one of those! They are not your normal A. amaricana, could be something else? Big and silver. I have only seen them in that county and mostly around Bisbee. They can take some cold because I seen no damage on them from the "big freeze"

Here's to all the global warming pushers, may your winters be -30 below and four feet of snow in your driveway. Because I want you happy.

I think Agave montana is native to Tamaulipas, Nuevo Leon of Mexico.TimMAz6 wrote:yes........lots of snow so far south. I wonder what the mountains in Mexico look like...........where A. montana is native too?
I would like to find a better weather map of Mexico, like a color shaded map of cold=blue and hot=red like the weather.com has. That way I can see what the valleys and mountains temps are.
