That's the area in Australia where the only native stand of Foxtail (Wodyetia) palms was discovered.

I'm enjoying La Nina, but there are downsides--heavy rains and floods on the other side of the Pacific.

Excuse to ask: how is your new Wodyetia?

The big Foxtail's doing fine, Erik, thanks for asking.
Thriving in its prime spot at the big south window.

I should introduce it to my 20+ little seedling Foxtails...as a reminder to "get growing" :P
