Post by igor.glukhovtsev » Thu Nov 22, 2012 3:51 pm

Best regards to everyone!
Back home from the North America trip. visited Amarillo, Texas, a few hours in around Detroit Metro, a few days in Toronto Metro area, a brief visit the Adam's place in Beamsvile too. More details later on. Let me to survive after a long-long trip first though. I'VE SEEN the CHOLLA CACTI and SOME YUCCAS growing naturally! WOW!

Here's to all the global warming pushers, may your winters be -30 below and four feet of snow in your driveway. Because I want you happy.

Glad you're home safe and sound, Igor.

Look forward to seeing all your great photos...of plants (not girls) :laughing6:

Bet you didn't see Chollas as close as this fellow did.

Thanks to everyone for the greetings! Yeah, it was a funny trip. It took about 32 hours travelling from Almaty via Amsterdam and Denver to Amarillo. Believe me it wasn't easy. A very important thing is that I've caught some nice weather in North America. Amarillo weather quite cold in night time (some freezing occurs) but mild if no winds during the day. Metro Toronto area weather was nice and sunny too. This morning when made a first step onto Kazakh land chilled me out - minus 13 C! Crazy! Looking forward for potting the plants brought overseas tomorrow. I've got a few color variations of EE plants. SO HAPPY! And the Abyssinian banana plant!!!
