Interesting looking Tree fern

Post by hardyjim » Thu Sep 03, 2015 8:44 am

Occasionally I check out e-bay for anything interesting..

In the last week I have come across little baby C.Brownii,
C.Robusta,C.Dealbata(google these if never seen-quite impressive images)
and today added another that I think is
very interesting...but not fun to spell.

Cyathea Tomentosissima...

my new baby

Some pics of bigger ones, almost a web-like quality
to the fronds with so much detail.

New crozier looks like some kind of rod iron log holder art.
Seriously beastly cool plant.
