Maybe only of interest to local folks.
But if anyone wonders why we're always complaining about high mountain passes in winter, have a look at this guy's collection:

:D
My most recent trip to B.C. was 20-some years ago; most were in the 1970s, so those pics show B.C. as I know it.

so those pics show B.C. as I know it.
And those pics were before the construction of the highest pass...the Coquihalla (and its Connector), affectionately termed Highway of Hell (in winter).
In summer, it's spec-ta-cular. :D

Jim,
Yup, here comes our second Arctic Blast, and it's still November

Here's to all the global warming pushers, may your winters be -30 below and four feet of snow in your driveway. Because I want you happy.

Me too, Aaron.
Love seeing town/landscape photos of where people live.

Sheesh, some of those photos go back to 1938
The mountains look just as menacing today, now it's mostly 4-lane paved hiways.
We traveled to the Coast many times in winter to visit G-parents for Christmas when our daughter was little.
Always in a blizzard. :?
