Some Vegas Pics

Post by Jay-Admin » Sat Feb 02, 2013 10:22 pm

Here's a few pics from my Las Vegas trip a couple weeks ago. Sorry I didn't get
to take my usual amount of pictures. I'll get a ton more this summer. :)

I'll start with the bad first.

Here's a couple chopped trachys. :(

Me doing what I do best. Leaning against a palm drinking a beer. :)

Some good looking palms.

Love this tshirt. Didn't buy it because flying home alone is no fun. :)

Why on earth would those Trachies have been chopped? :x

Good to see they're finally backing off the Phoenix hurricane haircuts; they look much better now.

Bet it felt good to see some sunshine and warmth.
Thanks Jay.

I have a pic of those same trachies from years ago, they looked in bad shape then. I would post them but they are on film. I was thinking they needed water.
Strange to see so many trachies in Vegas, it's like one of the hottest and driest towns, but yet there is many trachies there and even a few in Yuma AZ. :?

Here's to all the global warming pushers, may your winters be -30 below and four feet of snow in your driveway. Because I want you happy.

Yeah I noticed those same trachies years before looking pretty bad.

I kinda remember some of the light show. :)

Barb, It was great being in the sun and the temp being around 18c. :) I'm
getting really tired of this cloudy weather. :(

That's hard thing, dealing with the weather when you get back. :x

Really amazing to think of Trachys making it in the desert(with help of course)after what I saw
happen to them from drought and heat here -that is nowhere near what they would see in the desert!

I concur with the surprise at Trachies in intense heat. But I've seen them, there and also in North Texas and they do surprisingly well in extreme heat.
