Here's to all the global warming pushers, may your winters be -30 below and four feet of snow in your driveway. Because I want you happy.

Aaron, yes, if he's treating it as an annual.
But what a shame to waste a palm.

Feel like knocking on his door...
or maybe...a flashlight and a teeny shovel at midnight.

Drives me crazy...will go look every couple of days.

I know how you feel, I seen a nice dwarf brevifolia (lots of arms) someone threw out over the fence a left it for dead. By the time I got it, it was to late. I would have gladly given them some money for it. :?

A brevifolia? :(
It must've been of some age if it had arms.

There oughta be a law...that they have to give it to us :D

That's pretty Harsh! I was hoping you were going to go on a covert midnight mission.
This is even worse, all of those beautiful palms that where in front of that nursery and on 95 got chain sawed down last week. Talk about Sacrilege, he told me I could have any ones I wanted too, I just had no where to store them. Trust me the 8 foot mini date palms where tempting along with the 10 ft clear trunked robustas. I'll get a few of them next year if I have to build a greenhouse for them.
Here's the link for what they looked like. http://www.palmsnorth.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=2341

Bill,
I'm too old to crawl around the bushes in the dark

Oh yes I remember you posting those pictures!

THEY CHAINSAWED THEM DOWN???
That foxtail too?
And the trachy out front?

8 foot date palms?
10 foot clear robustas?

Why didn't they offer them to car dealerships (with 20 foot ceilings)?

I feel sick...

there should be laws against being dumb and killing palm trees.
Kent in Kansas
where it's cold in winter (always)
and hot in summer (usually)
