Raised bed PVC Waggie protection

Post by lucky1 » Thu Feb 07, 2013 7:32 am

As usual, I can never find where we last discussed something.

Below the photos, he de-bunks some myths.

This is Stosh's Washy raised bed: http://home.ptd.net/~mishele/webpage/protection2.htm

Thanks Tim and Scott, for finding his other links.

Barb

That photo is great!
Although I don't think my PVC-work would look like that if I built it.
Probably look like a stairway to heaven...leaning.

He's gettin' so famous HERE   we'll have to have him ride into PN on a chariot one day.

OK, maybe not.

Very interesting. Is it expensive to keep it above freezing? What kind of heater has been used: cable or light?

Sincerely.

Great pages. I will try to do experience with a Archontophoenix. Do you know people that grow this sp with protection in zone 9?

I've heard that Archontophoenix are really beautiful palms.
Have never seen one though.

What size of palm are you planting?
Would love to see a photo.

Thank you for the Archontophoenix photo, JM, they are a lovely palm.
I have heard that they are highly desirable and quite expensive.

Your English is a lot better than our French-speaking abilities!

Thank you.

You can find this palm size from 25 US Dollars in Spain. I paid mine around 50 US Dollars.
