Need help identifying a true Washingtonia Filifera

Post by InsanePalmNinja » Tue Oct 04, 2016 6:43 pm

Hey while back,I bought some seeds for this particular palm. Turned out that the seeds still fresh. I'm really hoping that my palm this really is the true Arizona cotton palm as i call it the "fat boy washy. Its still young though. Am not sure what to look for in the thorn color. I heared this, red is a Mexican fan and yellow is Arizona fan pam. I will give updates as the young palm grows.

Here is the little guy:

To small to know for sure but keep checking
the petiole bases...Robusta is a more purple color
and Filifera will be brown/light brown.
