One more new one this week

Post by miketropic » Fri Apr 05, 2013 4:52 pm

Got this today and repotted since it came bare root caryota mitis var. palm is about 12 inchs tall and I got a steal on it due to some cold damage. can't wait till it starts sending up new canes. the variegation is pretty heavy as well so it might be awhile.

Mike, unless it's really warm outside, I'd put it back into a warm sunny room, with some humidity (i.e. near the shower/laundry/dishwasher, etc.).
Fishtails hate cold roots, even more than some other palms.

Good luck with it.

If you drink, don't drive. Don't even putt.

Nobody panics when people plant normal trees because its part of the plan... if someone plants a Palm EVERYONE LOSES THERE MINDS!
