Adam, wow...you had to cut that much to find any green?

Hope your six footer makes it.
I've got one ... any indication what caused the stem rot?

that broke accidentally. i may have been too rough with it Barb.
The rot i only noticed yesterday. I was inspecting it because its growth was stalled ALL winter, literally NO growth since September. May have had too much water, not enough sun indoors... so out it went. Its spear started to move over the past week. But I went and snapped it when pulling off a partially rotten outer boot.

We've all done those infuriating things, Adam

Since there's so little evidence of rot, let's hope it comes back with a vengeance

My big Spindle hasn`t done much the last six months either...except of course harboring a scale colony.
Got so mad I cut all the leaves off except one.
