Local TV meterologists say we have skipped ahead to May. Overnight lows are forecast to be above the average HIGHS for the foreseeable future:
http://www.wunderground.com/cgi-bin/fin ... 1#forecast

We may hit 30 C by the end of the week, with lows in the upper teens. :D

Now, if is like this in "winter" what will Summer bring to Tulsa? Well, that is why I am heading to the Oregon coast for Summer.

Right now, with the sun still up, it is +1 C, snowing, with winds of about 100 km at my parent's beach cabin.

Incredible, Erik.
Must look so tropical all those palms out on the deck.

Sounds like a good idea to get out of Dodge for the summer

Yeah, know what your parents have for weather...we've got cold again too, being about 700 miles north.
Grey cold windy.

Wish I were in OK....now

I'll give them some miracle grow to get going this week.
I haven't arranged them for the summer yet, as I still can't believe that I won't be hustling them back in again. :?

With that, I think I will start arranging potted plants as if they will be out until October 8)

Here's to all the global warming pushers, may your winters be -30 below and four feet of snow in your driveway. Because I want you happy.

My son is at my parent's Oregon coast beach house now. I'll ask him to take a cell-phone snap for me.
Update: just got off the phone with my son. He says there is snow there! Very rare. He'll put photos on Facebook, and I'll download them to share here on PN.
As for Tulsa, we hit 29 C today; supposed to get down to 17 C overnight :D

He says there is snow there!
Yup, system after system is coming in off the Pacific, with a few blasts for the interior of BC out of Alaska.
Poop.

Years ago, we had T-shirt weather by March...now I'm re-loading the wood stove. :?
Poop again.

But I swear I'm NOT replacing the insulation over the 2 Washies, they'll just get the 6ml plastic wrap around their cages.
