PENINSULA FLOWERS NURSERY ,
Tropictotropic,
Bambooworld,
Ive got from all these, but the Peninsula flowers nursery had the biggest. They arent realy listed on there website other than how to grow them.
Send them an email and they can set you up

That reminds me that BillMA and HardyJim are having a competition this summer to see whose Abyssinian banana grows the tallest this year.

They're probably getting a head start on others right now...

Plenty of places here in Ontario carry them. Check out Hortico, Cole's Florists, Southcoast may have them (you'd need to check), Humber certainly has them, and numerous other places are also carrying them here now (even Sobey's and HD have them often!). Prices for 2 gallon plants CAN be very affordable and avoids the necessary one year grow up of liner sized plants obtained from places like tropic.ca (at least when I first purchased this plant years ago.)... Oh and the shipping should be less expensive since the plants won't have to go ALL the way across the country!

If you're lucky enough for find a 1 gallon at HD or Sobeys they should run you $9 or so.

Last time i checked southcoast gardens site they had some for decent prices. I havnt seen any on Horticos site presonaly.

Bamboo world has some, 10 bucks for a plant that was a few inches tall, bareroot. If you order from there its much better to get one large potted bamboo, or some smaller potted bamboo ( the shipping is 13.99 for the first plant, and 5 99 ( i think ), for each plant after. The basjoos there are free shipping, but if you only order free shipping plants, you get a shipping charge ( i think it was 8.99). It was worth it for me becasue i ordered 2 bamboo, and 2 musa from them. You can find bigger specimin for the same price.

10 bucks for a TC liner! You're best to get a plant 2 gallons of larger, that way you can get it to 8' in the first year (OK, maybe not in Newfoundland)...

Ya I learned that last year when they didnt even brake a foot tall

One was left out, 95% sure its dead ( never know though), and the one in indoors, and is over 2 feet now, with foot long leaves. It should grow nicely this year :D

Paul did you get my pm? Im wondering if you want any musa seeds........
