The nursery is in San Diego, California.

Phil Bergman has really done a nice job...very thorough.
Good database too, with pics.

His newsletter (about the cold winter) stated:
thousands of purchased Coconut Palms from depot type stores here in Southern California died. Mortality rates were greater than 98 percent
I think we all know about the "garbage" we get from big box stores.

I've bought from Phil a couple of times. His website has a lot of useful information. I like doing business over the telephone and he is quite helpful that way. He doesn't know our climates first-hand, but seems to really care. --Erik
