I think there's just not many people looking for info to grow palms in colder climates... I posted this past summer asking questions about the seeds my palm was putting out and the viability of them and no one replied with answers for me (that I recall).

Wheelman.... I know what you mean. It's been a brutal Winter for the mid west and eastern side again and even the Pacific north west has had a cold snap on a much smaller scale. Winter in the UK has been mild with just a low of just 21.7°F here locally. On top of that we've just had Summer with 70.5°F recorded here yesterday. Now back to Atlantic fronts and rain :cry:

Just got back from Jamaica
Seeds planted

last year's Christmas Palm seeds from Cuba, now seedlings and doing well. Been a while since I've been on here

I ended up moving...the cold this winter helped with that as it knocked off my Rostrata and Terscheckii....

I moved 7 palms and 5 T.ferns among other things....
