Pushing Flowers

Post by nate74 » Tue Apr 05, 2016 2:43 pm

Seems my Trachy has made it through another winter and has now started to push some flowers for the first time.

Unfortunately I don't have any others old enough to flower. I have two in 15 gallon pots that will go in the ground this spring but they are still to small to flower.

Do you have pic of the whole palm flowering? It looks like it is tall with the size of the trunk shown. Pics of your other palms? Thanks

I snapped a pic this morning

It has 33" of trunk this year compared to 24" last year so I am pretty happy about that and there are 9 flower pods.

Here's to all the global warming pushers, may your winters be -30 below and four feet of snow in your driveway. Because I want you happy.

Looks like 3 days in the mid 80's have brought the flowers out.

And an overall shot cause I liked the light tonight.
