Oh No Snow

Post by Syano10 » Wed Mar 16, 2016 4:40 pm

We are possibly getting a snow storm this weekend in the Northeast. The Trachys Have been uncovered for a few weeks. But we will see lows in the low to mid 20's F. Thoughts on covering?? Any suggestions would be great.

Depends on what size they are, small straplings
or very small palms would need a cover to be safe.

Anything with 2-3' of clear trunk wont even blink...if they blink at all. 8)

Thanks! I get a little nervous and baby them. I have three in ground. Two very tall and the third is about a foot of trunk. I may just wrap it in a blanket for the storm.
