garden shuffle complete

Post by chadec » Fri May 29, 2015 5:26 pm

For the last 2 years I have been working on doubling the size of my gardens. But I have also been working 80 hrs week too which makes it hard to get anything done. So with a week of vacation and 12 hours days in the yard I hope I am just about finished. At least all the plants are moved. All the palms have been relocated from the front yard to the back where they can get sun.

Musa's are behind this yr due to the drought. But the sabal minors are in bloom.

Needle palm does great every yr. Behind it you can see a trachy, and in front is a musa begal tiger. I was not expecting it to come back.

Manfreda starting to pop up on the left. Dasylirion survived the winter and agave havardiana shows no winter damage.

Nope, ain't gonna happen. I already moved 2 sabal minors and a needle palm from the carport side. I don't think the needle is gonna make it, along with another trachy right off the patio.

Yes, fine tuning of palm placement is never ending.
