Trachycarpus near pool..

Trachycarpus in good shape in Blainville near Montreal. It will be protected soon for the winter with the other trachy and 2 washy. Thats give a real tropical look around the pool.

Palms are looking good....did you plant the Washy this year?

Yes, the washy was planted by the customer this spring. He bought them at the botanical center for 90$ each, good deal. I sold him the protection kit for the Trachy and he will try to protect the Washy too. I ll try with my washy at home, and will follow the development during the winter.

Sometimes Home Depot sells Washingtonia robustas for 35 bucks. 12" pot, 6 foot tall palm. I think $90 for that (very nice, but) little guy is a little high.

Thx Mike, its a customer pool...im dreaming to have one like this..but thats make me glad to do a landscape like that far from the tropic.
