Jim, that's true Iowa's Treasure.
Have you always overwintered Washys otdoors?
Do you dig abyssinian and eleph ears and that tall cereus from the ground?

what's the tall columnar cactus.....Trichocereus pachanoi? How much cold to you give it??? or let get to it!

Just about 3 years now on the Washys Antti,
I do dig up the others you mentioned including the Cactus .

I leave that one(Cereus Peruvianus)in the ground until about the low 20s.

It grows about a foot per year.
