Yucca Decipiens and Filifera

I'd love to own a trunked Filifera but with a hardiness of only -8C I'm loath to buy one even though they are as common as muck over here. Yucca decipiens on the other hand is considerably hardier and looks similar in appearance. So i'm somewhat bemused by the fact that they are as rare as hens teet...

Well this yucca is the bees knees for me which I have shown before and resides in the garden of Nick Macer's Pan Global Plants. Thanks for your comments :D Igor.. I have since potted up tim's hybrids. I'll see how they get on but planting straight into the ground is a no no here. The slugs and snails would soon devour them.
