Looking awesome! This is the species I'm looking for but no luck here so far. Bought two pcs., but it turned out to be some gloriosa hybrids, despite what seller said.

EDIT; sabals like to be near water, some even in swamps as Erik has proven. They can handle all the water you give them. I wouldn't let a Sabal dry out. Mine stopped growing when I neglected them...basically stalled for a couple of years. Barb, that's why I wrapped it, so it's constantly moist, but...

Mine small seedling has black stretch wrap on the soil surface, so it's almost constantly moist and it's growing happily and quite fast for a sabal, or maybe McCurtain is faster grower than regular sabal?

Barb, the trunk for sure, but still has the same rather small crown. I guess this species grows this way.
