I have plant pots everywhere: in the living, in the bedroom, in the bathroom, in the kitchen, at my wife's school, at my work in the office. So what did I do after that? Found a cactus on sale at Canadian Tire and I brought it home.

http://i958.photobucket.com/albums/ae68/bananieru/2012/Garden/20121014_5152_zps2c07374a.jpg you can see that the top of the soil is actually higher than the garden. This combined with the well that I dig under it gives it more chances. http://i958.photobucket.com/albums/ae68/bananieru/2012/Garden/2...

I will remove some of the soil from around the trunk and the mulch. This area is very close to the house almost under the roof. It's very dry. The hole I made was about 2ft deep till I hit an area with 100% sand. The mix I put in was around 50-50 soil and sand, very fast draining. I already build a ...

beautiful yucca rostrata almost no roots

First I was a little worried but I read that they store whatever they need to keep them alive in the trunk. http://i958.photobucket.com/albums/ae68/bananieru/2012/Yucca/20120907_5010_zps808f25a4.jpg You can see it has some very small roots: http://i958.photobucket.com/albums/ae68/bananieru/2012/Yucc...
