The fun just starts, now you have to babysit real chicks. When is 2 years in quail years?

I used plywood and that's exactly where I stored them, above the garage door. No problem for one, but very quick they start to add up. Ben, How large are your boxes? Originally I made mine 4x4 and there is no problem with them. But this creates a problem with storing them in the winter. I'm thinking 2x2 would be enough, but this may create other problems. You have to tie them so they don't touch the boxes, also is 2x2 enough to pro...

They did not ask. They were more interested in cigarettes and booze. Good to know next time if they ask; houseplants because who in the right mind would grow palms outside in Canada?
To be honest they grow so slow that they can be house plants for a long time.

adonidia palm tree

Just got myself a double adonidia palm tree (pictures to follow). It's in a 12" pot, probably from Florida. Anybody has any experience with it? Can I move it to a bigger pot and most important, can I separate them?

according to wunderground, the minimum was -21C, but I remember having less than that. In the boxes the minimum was -5 once, but most of the time was around 0.
