Yes. All my palms continue to grow quite well through the winter. I have a pretty bright sunny house (when it is sunny) and keep them close to windows where they get direct sun. I use the miracle grow fertilizer when I water every week. My palms seem to do almost as good as outside without being bea...

Nice collection Mike.

Everything looks great!

Looks like you have quite a bit to protect. How many are staying in the ground and being protected this year?

My hat off to you.

Queen palms take a beating and still stand

Too cool not to share.

Took this during a bad summer storm. It was pretty scary. Too bad my camera ran out of memory before the worst of it.

Enjoy

Two or three usually. I usually get one over the winter in the house.
Unfortunatly I break a couple of them getting them in and out of the house on the taller 17ft one cause it a real challenge to move and my ceilings are only 11.5 foot. They have to over winter on a 45 deg. angle.

That Trachy looks great. Does your enclosure have light or allow light in? Are you pulling in the basement air from the basement window in the pic? How do you allow the air out? I'l like to know more about how you are doing it if you'd care to share.
