I found a ton of the older incandescent mini-lights for 2 bucks a pop at the xmas store in Watertown NY. Needless to say I bought them out!

Henoh- I have no idea. The plant was grown from seed collected from a 'wild' alofolia plant, but that spp. isn't hardy in Ontario.
My guess is that the male was Y. filamentosa (flaccida).

I had a look through some of he hybrids and spp. that I have growing in my garden, this winter will be a good challenge for them, since a lot of them have size, when I have time I will make a more thorough report, but: I have some of those Tennesee seed source gloriosa and recurvfolia plants that I ...

Cuja- I grow Pediocactus in my rural z. 4b/5a (I guess now it's moved to 5a). They are finicky, they won't (generally) do well if your overnight temps stay above 20C for more then a couple days. I know that they grow in my garden well, but just 200km away (Toronto, zone 6) people have a terrible tim...

Jesse- The thing with the larger leafed Magnolia species is that they need some serious heat to harden off properly before winter. I'm also suprised by the loss of the Y. glauca. What? How?
