I am in Zone 7A, but I used a FlowerHouse greenhouse and a 100w bulb to protect my Butia last winter.

It worked well. Indeed it worked so well that the Butia has already outgrown the greenhouse. :o

The only thing to remember is that on sunny days, you must open it up a bit to vent it.

I have never been to Wildwood, but its on my list. I am a big fan of Googie or what they call Doo Wop architecture and other Mid Century styles. But I think they should lose the fake palms. Trachys would do fine there.
