Hi elburro, thank you for sharing pictures and link. It's nice to see them in natural habitat. I have young plants grown from seeds collected in Platte County, Wyoming (1985.72 Mesa Garden). The seeds were sown in February 2011. http://i400.photobucket.com/albums/pp84/m_bara/Hreb%20Exo/P9010017_zps2...

Re: Yucca 'Karlsruhensis type 2' x rostrata, a Jensen hybrid
The seed parent for this hybrid did I received as "Yucca Karlsruhensis tyoe, Zagreb botanical garden". This plant could be either a F2 hybrid or another clone of the original cross by Graebner. We really need to ask the Zagreb botanical garden for more information. Have a nice weekend Ben...

Tim, thank you for answer. I found information that Yucca species (filamentosa/flaccida, gloriosa, recurvifolia, aloifolia) has been naturalized by European settlers also. Mostly Yucca sp. natarulized in eastern parts US, and southern parts of Canada. Probably native Americans has been first who spr...

Neomexicana is full hardy here. This is my seed grown from population in Cimarron County, Oklahoma (Mesa Garden 1997.81). It's germinated in March 2012, planted in ground in late summer/early autumn, and passed very wet winter without any problems. http://i400.photobucket.com/albums/pp84/m_bara/Exo%...
