Thanks Aaron. Starting to grow like weeds. Which is the kind of weeds I like. :) I'm not too sure which form the Humifusa is Paul. I got it from a guy named Jim in Ontario. He use to post a lot on the other cold hardy forums. Now that I look at Duncan's it looks more upright. And Jim's definitely lo...

I have about ten different varieties of Opuntia that are upright, most lay down over the winter
and then perk right back up again come Spring time.

No prob. Well, I have never killed any. :) These are the Eastern prickly pear cactus and are super hardy. Native to S. Ontario, Michigan etc.
I probably have a couple hundred pads growing so if you kill yours this winter just let me know and I'll send you some. :)

Mine droop and lay down every winter. I never cover any of my cacti. The one in the back looks like
Opuntia humifusa to me. You can't kill those. :)

Thanks John, That was one of my favorite shows to watch when I came home from school many years ago.
I probably shouldn't say Gold Field is a complete ghost town because there are still some folks who live there.
Still a pretty neat place to see.

Yeah, It was a security setting in the server that I changed because I guess it was against
the "rules" for certain email providers. That's why some were receiving email notifications and
others weren't.

Well, it should be good now. 8)
