Cold is a deciding factor, but wet cold is the killer! :x If you can keep the roots dry and the crown dry and the plant is not stuck in weather below 32f for long periods, it should live. That's not what I expected from yucca rostratas. There's so much talk about them being hardy to zone 5b. They have pictures of them in New York.
