Everything is definitely late around the howl country, my figs are way late this year and they have been in the ground unprotected for 11 years now, just slow to come back

They're doing fine still at home pushing out leaves, now the ones down here at the beach place are slower to come back probably because they are a lot younger and smaller than the ones at home.... :(

I would hazard a guess that if you clear some of the soil away on the sides you will see some live growth. Give it a try. Take a some pics, you will see some reddish yellow healthy tissue around the outsides....let us know....
Just don't dig into that plant itself.Good Luck!

Your musas should be fine.....no matter what they will come back from the ground. I have had several great winters with huge growth every spring and summer until this past winter of death. I had to cut them the furthest back I have ever done in their four years in the ground, and they are shooting u...

I tried these before with no luck (actually I think i dropped the container they were in lol). Im pretty sure they need to be surface sown, or at least covered lightly. They were pretty small seeds. I am looking for help please with germinating Fatsia Japonica seeds. I bought them online from Hirt's Gardens.

They come with basic directions, but I am sure you all have much more knowledge and many tips to offer. All advice is much appreciated.
